Happy National Picnic Day! In honor of this fun holiday, we had everyone bring in their favorite stuffed animal to school so they could have a picnic with them! Everyone had so much fun showing off their stuffed animals to their class, just look at them! We love special days like this at school and we cannot wait for the next one!
Celebrating St. Patrick's Day is always a fun tradition at our center! The school's leprechaun shows up and leaves a glittery mess after the kids tried to trap him! Every classroom ends the day with a fun party filled with treats and a dance party.
This week our Pre-K classes participated in Spead the Joy! Spread the Joy is a non-profit that surprises hospitalized children with care packages, or as we like to call them: Joy Boxes! Our Joy Boxes are filled with fun and therapeutic arts and crafts, games, origami, magic tricks and much more! Not only are they fun, but they are 100% clinician recommended. Every child was very excited to decorate and fill the boxes for other kids! We are so incredibly grateful for this partnership and our Pre-K classes participation in spreading joy to hospitalized children.
Our Green Frog classroom tinkered around their workshop and created their own robot! They tested supplies from all over their classroom to see what kind of model robot they could make! This was a fun center activity that used cause and effect, finding the right tools to use. When they were done building, they even got to talk to their robot! Little moments like this will last a lifetime and we are so happy we are able to be a part of it! Stay tuned for a video of the speaking robot!
This week every class is taking their spring photos! The kids have been coming in all dressed up and ready for the camera. You could say this model is ready for his close up!
We hope everyone has a lovely Valentines Day! We celebrated the day with parties, treats, and lots of love. Every class had a valentines day party where they exchanged valentines while eating sugary sweets! We had parent volunteers come in to help out with our parties and the mess afterwards! Our staff even had a chance to grab some treats so they could match their classes sugary energy!
